Fleets Barlink Angel 3G FARMS is now accepting rescue horses Again. Due to cost of feed and care we know there are quite a few horses out there this year that need help. Members of the family are Patti Griggs-Martin & Husband Pete Martin along with our Two Boys Tyler & Troy. We breed & raise Pintos & Paints. We are located in Ridgefield Washington. Our horses have good sound minds, are easy to handle and make great family trail horses as well as show horses. Our horses are bred to win in the Halter ring and then go on to become Performance horses. All our broodmares are sound and are ridden on trail rides. We only produce a handfull of foals each year. We do this for 2 reasons. 1. to stay small enough that the farm is family ran and 2. Each foal gets all the daily handeling, training and attention required to become a great show and family horse. We really enjoy the Norfleet bred horses. They are gorgeous well built horses with great dispositions and good feet. The overo pattern is our favorite and we hope to produce more and more of the nice loud overos as time goes on. At 3G Farms the horses are very well taken care of. There Hooves are trimmed every 6 to 8 weeks. Worming is done every 8 to 12 weeks. There teeth are checked by the Vet. every year. Vaccinations are done each spring. We feed top quality hay, grain, and supplements. We feel it is important for the horses to be raised in a herd situation. They seem to be more healthy and happy this way. We stall horses as needed, but during most of the year they are raised on big pastures with grassy rolling hills. All the mares and foals and our Gelding run together. We seperate the mares only during foaling. All the mares foal in nice big box stalls. The foals are imprinted at birth and halter broke before the rejoin the herd. Even our stallion has about a 1 acer pasture that he has year around. TYLER The name 3G farms was created from our brand. 3G is a combined brand that is Registered in the state of Washington to the GRIGGS Family. The origional 3G farm was called the 3G OUTFIT. My Grandfather Glen Griggs, Father Steve Griggs, and uncles John & George Griggs where the origional 3G Outfit. All of then no longer have horses. Horses have always been a very big part of my Life. So I, Patti Griggs have decided to carry on the family brand but in my own way. My family and I named our (outfit) 3G FARMS. My husband Pete Martin is the person in charge of halter breaking all the foals. Tyler (age 7) enjoys riding his mares & brushing all the horses in the barn. Troy still enjoys an occasional ride on his mare Star and is the back up feeder. Troy will soon be designing all the NEW logos for the farm. As for myself I am the manager.
