They are created in layers and the layered versions of each image are saved. These images can be altered and adjusted if you wish to have me save them for a future custom order. TERMS OF SERVICE Once you have decided that you would like to move forward with a custom artwork, simply fill out a Commission Request Form to get started. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin work on your commission. Next you will send me, via snail mail or high-resolution email JPG images, any photos that you would like included in the artwork. I will make copies from your original materials to use in the collage. I do not charge extra if it is necessary to digitally retouch, restore or color correct your images. The original photos will not be altered or used in the actual artwork. Your photos will be safely returned to you when you receive your finished artwork. I do recommend that we have a phone conversation to discuss the ideas that you visualize for your collage. I will offer my professional input to insure that your finished collage is truly an artistic piece of work. I will accept up to 5 of your photos or documents, although very often a client will decide that using fewer photos will create a more artistic result. In certain instances, such as a Wedding Reception Photomontage, or a Genealogy Collage, a larger number of photos might be necessary. There will be an $8 fee for each additional photo used. I also offer my extensive library of images as "backdrops" to use in your collage. You will always have the opportunity to view a sample to see if you choose to add or take away an image. You may decide to drop an image that you approved earlier in the process because suddenly it seems to take away from the composition. The result will always be a beautiful photomontage that you will be proud to display. When the artwork is in the initial design stage, I will email you a JPG so that you can see the progress and let me know if you'd like any additions or alterations. When the artwork is finished, I will email you a digital photo of your custom collage for your approval. Once you have signed off on the final artwork, you will send the payment balance and I will ship the artwork to you!
