Annual Events at the MayDay Celebrations
Everyone is welcome to this fun family event!

The Historic Village of Fort Langley welcomes you to join them to celebrate Victoria Day in style. Perhaps the most successful and popular event during this celebration is the May Day Parade. This Parade is enjoyed by 10,000 to 15,000 spectators from Greater Langley and the surrounding area and is one few remaining community supported parades on the Lower Mainland. Activites include a main street parade presided over by the May Queen and her court, canoe races, May pole dancing, concessions, and childrens activites. The parade starts at 11:00 am and travels through the Village to the Fort Langley Community Park.

Mayday Parade Route
To commemorate the Queens Birthday the Township of Langley holds an annual parade celebration. The parade begins up at the Fort Langley National Historic Site as the birthplace of BC where it all began. The parade route continues down Mavis Avenue and turns down Glover Road passing by the Fort Langley Community Hall and continuing down to the Fort Langley Lions Hall at 88th Avenue and Glover Road.
MayDay Celebrations
Marching bands, floats, RCMP motorcycle ride, vintage cars, drill teams, Langley riders, Vintage farm machines and clowns will entertain the whole family. Fort Langley Community Hall serves as the centre of the Parade with its scenic community centre a great place to meet locals and dignitaries. The crowning of the May Queen, the maypole dances, the midway rides, music, food and family fun begins after the parade. Visit Fort Langley Community Park for after parade activities.
